Hi I'm Grace McLemore and I work at Morrow Elementary I am a first grade teacher and I've been in Owasso Public Schools for the last five years some of my favorite things teaching is celebrating the success of all my learner's in class whether it's their success on a monthly I sit for a bench mark test and just coming beside them and cheering them on and seeing the pride that they have when they accomplish their goals or when they went over and above I just love getting them to that place where they can reset and finish their day strong and when they show up every single morning giving them that new that new Fresh Start that they need we all deserve that and so that is one of my favorite things about teaching is just seeing their growth and seeing their success and helping them celebrate that because they all grow in different ways and they all have different strengths and that's one of my favorite things one of the things that brings me joy as a teacher and one of my favorite parts is celebrating their success but also seeing those past students that get to come back so you know that's a good thing about being at Morrow Elementary The Last 5 Years I pretty much taught a handful students throughout the whole school and so getting to see them in the hallways and seeing how they've grown and changed getting to know them seeing them outside of school and whether it's attending their soccer game or their basketball game or just seeing him in the hall and giving them a finger wave that relationship that lasts for far more than that year is one of my favorite things that brings me joy everyday Mrs. Macklemore is amazing she comes to work every day ready to start our day with a smile she greets her children she is the prime example of what we would want as a teacher in Owasso Public Schools her kindness her ability to meet every student socially emotionally and academically where they're at she is a blessing to our school Being an Owasso Public School teacher is so important to me and the community that Owasso provides is incredible like we tried to move back to Texas for a two-year stint and it it was not what we had hoped like Owasso had done something to us it became our home and the schools and the relationships that have been built and the leadership and just a high standard that Owasso has is incredible and its unmatched and we came back so we didn't last very long in Texas Even though family or jobs whatever took us there we came back and it is our home and I am just so proud to be in Owasso Public School teacher I am Grace McLemore and I am in Owasso Ram!
